Insurance

Please present your insurance identification card at each visit to certify coverage. The front desk will collect co-payment at the time of service. We accept cash, check and credit card (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover).

The UND Center for Family Medicine prepares and files insurance claims at no charge. We accept assignment for North Dakota Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Sanford, North Dakota Medicaid, Medicare, and many other insurance carriers.

Patients Without Insurance

New patients without insurance are expected to pay a minimal co-pay up front. When this is not possible, patients are encouraged to discuss the account with the Business Office following the appointment to make arrangements for payment.

Fees & Payment

Our fees generally reflect the fees of family physicians within our community. Our fees for services are an agreement between you and the UND Center for Family Medicine. Health insurance is a third party to this agreement. Regardless of the action of your insurance company, payment of fees for service is your responsibility.

Bismarck Price Estimate: To request a price estimate, log in to your MyChart account from a desktop computer and select “Billing” then “Estimates” to get started.  Or call our office at 701-751-9505.  Additionally, patients can use our online price estimate tool.  Note, this link is to a Sanford Health page.  Click UND Clinic to obtain the Center for Family Medicine price estimate.

Minot Price Estimate: Price estimates can be requested by calling the billing office at 701-848-6700, option 4.  Additionally, patients can use our online price estimate tool.  Note, this link is to a Sanford Health page.  Click UND Clinic to obtain the Center for Family Medicine price estimate. Estimates may vary depending on the testing performed.  To verify lab prices, call the billing office.
